Giving meaning and force to environmental laws in Canada

With over 70 shows completed, Lake Ontario Waterkeeper's: Living At The Barricades, is the best research tool available to Canadian students and practitioners in environmental planning, law, engineering and activism. Thanks to the hundreds of people who have researched and worked on this show, our country is winning back it's environment...one community, one watershed at a time. And given the important role Canada has on the global environment - that is worthy of note everywhere.

Most informative environmental show in CANADA (and quite possibly the world)

As someone who studies environmental science (and generally wants to stay in touch with current enviro issues), I definitley turn to Mark and Krystyn to stay informed and updated. This radio show is the best way to stay educated at a scrappy grassroots level. All Canadians should be tuning in weekly to hear what Mark and Krystyn have to say about issues like nuclear power, waste/water treatment, mining and more. Their focus is on water and, let's face it, water is the root of all things in this world.

I never miss it.

This podcast is an accessible and entertaining way to stay up-to-date about what is happening on Lake Ontario. No matter what your level of knowledge of the law or environmental issues, the podcast offers something new each week. It inspires with a down-to-earth, grassroots approach to environmental justice and democracy, not to mention the great music.
