Humorous Hobbyists

Many Age of Sigmar or WH40k podcasts are caught up in the min/max ultra competitive tournament scene or spend their time ‘reviewing’ a new Battletome/Codex by just reading it to you with a smidge of commentary. Some hosts talk about sending their armies out for commission painting or flog their store/merchandise over and over.

Not these lads. John and Andrew acknowledge that this hobby is expensive toy soldiers with sometimes ridiculous lore that you have to paint yourselves. They both mock it and love it in the same breath. It’s funny stuff, with lots of laugh-out-loud (or at least chuckle out loud) moments.

Recurring segments cover highlights (or lowlights) from their recent battles, new models they’ve been working on and some light Age of Sigmar lore, each introduced with an impressive and probably professionally recorded jingle.

Worth checking out whether you’ve been involved in the hobby for years or if it just recently piqued your interest.

Super Funny!

Love the podcast, you guys are doing great work! It’s a great way to get into the groove to paint my minis. Only downside is it makes me want more every time I finish! Hope you guys keep it up, looking forward to future content!
