I stopped by for a quick Caesar and ended up wasted on limoncello.

I found these guys back during their recent Life of Augustus podcast and quickly branched out from there. To an avid podcast listener, Ray and Cam have a lot to offer.

If you’re looking for all the historic details with a distinct comedic twist, I couldn’t recommend the the Life of Tiberius podcast more. But, don’t start here. Go back and listen to the Life of Augustus first, or better yet the Life of Julius. Ray and Cam have covered it all.

I could drone on for several more paragraphs regarding the content these guys put out, the library is pretty extensive at this point, and I recommend all of it.

To Ray and Cam: keep it up guys, you’ve kept me entertained for many a work day. I look forward to my new mug.

I fell on this podcast through the History of WW2 by Ray. I've been listening to the Life of Caesar and WW2 podcats for 2 years now. All i have to say is OMG!!!! I listen to the Caesar podcast while i do renovations and have busted a nut laughing quite a few times. It's an easy listen, great format of 2 guys shooting the SH**T but very well researched and detailed. YOu will not be bored listening to this!!! believe me!!! I have no idea how they manage to get so much research done for all the podcasts they have going. I can't imagine all the reading they have to do. When i was doing my bachelors in history, i used to joke that i had to read even while taking a sh**T cause i had so much of it....... Wait did i just offend you? Well if you have sensitive ears this is not the podcast for you!! i really thought i had heard it all until Cam started talking about Jesus milk........ Yes, Jesus milk....!!! It was one of the funniest momments of this podcast so far. Keep up the great work you men children, you guys are frigging awesome!!! i highly recommend this to anybody wanting to learn about Caesar and Augstus!!

Keep our Heroes One Dimensional! Ban this podcast!

The two hosts just go on and on and on and on for hours minutely discussing facts that they researched. You actually learn detailed stories about events that occured during eras of Caesar's life that usually are sumed up in a sentence or two in most history texts. These stories make him human and relatable and less than a marble monument.

They even made me interested enough to read a classic poem that is an epic of Western literature. Thanks Atheists!

If you don't care to know anything about Roman history between the Battle of Actium and the death of Augustus, and prefer to remain ignorant about how humans have constantly conducted politics and social control and warfare, just stay unsubscribed.

I can only pray they avoid illuminating anything about Domitian and Titus in future.
