Episode 180 - Jesse James and the Old Man in the Cave

Episode 180 - Jesse James and the Old Man in the Cave

Francis Horton, one of the hosts of the What a Hell of a way to die podcasts takes the wheel to tell the story of his home state of Missouri and the weird Jesse James grifting cave.

    *Corrections*

Francis mixed up the Pottawatomie massacre and the Raid on Harper's Ferry. The massacre occured in 1856 and the raid in 1859 which ended in Brown's uprising being put down by famed a*****e Robert E Lee and Brown's death.

Entertaining & Educational

Conversational podcast about some of the darkest and dumbest moments in combat history. Joe and a guest dive into battles, wars, and characters that may have gotten a brief mention in history class, or none at all. Happily replay episodes in the background all day.

Great history lessons

I love how this podcast dives into some very unique moments in history that don’t get enough attention in school or media.

Im an Afghan Male Living in Toronto, Canada

First got introduced to this channel with the Soviet-Afghan War Series. The one on your channel is definitely the most in-depth

More entertaining than the actual history even is the commentary and this is the only history podcast that has me laughing all the way through the episodes

I appreciate your service in Afghanistan and your effort in creating this podcast and I am subbed on Patreon

Keep it Up!!!!
