Amazing audio. Friends. Laughter. Epic Story.
I’ve been interested in DND for quite awhile, but a lot of the main stream content that I would watch or listen to didn’t sit well with my conscience. Make Believe Heroes changed that.
There is no swearing or explicit content, which is a huge plus. Yes there is violence (which is to be expected in DND encounters) and perhaps a few too many “Joe Mama” jokes for my taste. (For context the only time I ever got in a fight in school was when a kid made a similar joke at my mom’s expense).
But aside from that, can’t recommend this podcast enough! The MBH crew really makes you feel like you’re sitting at the table with them. There is a lot of laughter and camaraderie. The Discord community exists to amplify that feeling even more.
And can we talk about sound quality for a second? Wowzers! Particularly since the second season, the editing has been top notch. It just gets better and better with each episode. There are times where I feel like I’m listening to an audiobook. Sound effects, musical scores, ambient noise. They aren’t kidding when they say it’s spicy!
Paul, Allen, Felicia, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Zac, Red, Ezra, Mason, Hanna. Thank you for all you bring to the table.
