The Making Of Chris Hadfield Space Sessions : Songs From a Tin Can

In 2013, Col. Chris Hadfield spent five months aboard the International Space Station. In the evenings, followings days full of scientific experiments, Col. Hadfield would pull out an acoustic guitar and power up Apple Garage Band on his iPad to record music and vocals for songs he’s written alone, as well as with his brother and son. Once back on Earth, Juno Award winning producer Robbie Lackritz was recruited to help finish the album. Noted Canadian musicians were brought on board to help fulfill Hadfield’s original vision for full instrumentation on the songs.
