Mamo! is the show about movies and popular culture, hosted by Matthew Price and Matt Brown. We record live in real locations, giving our show a unique sound and feel. We examine why and how movies connect with all of us, and ten years in, we still have a lot to say.
Mamo 1044: Quiblammo
Mamo! — the show about movies and popular culture — focuses this week on the identities of the various platforms in the Streaming Wars, and somehow does all of that without mentioning the demise of.... Quazzle? Quambo? Quimdim? Quizzle. Qui-gon. Quaqum. Quo.
Mamo 587: Professor Hulk
SPOILER WARNING! Summer is here and so are the Avengers, perhaps for the last time! Phenomenal discussion of superheroes and diversity
Just listened to episode 425, and it was I think perhaps the best discussion of superheroes and diversity I've ever read or heard. I'll be tuning in regularly.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and humans and ears and sound. And the sound was without form, and void.
And God said, Let there be harmonious sound: and there was Mamo.
And God heard the podcast, that it was good.
I've listened to various podcasts over the years, but MAMO is the only one that has stuck with me. The two Matt's have a great chemisty together and while I don't always agree with everything they have to say, they keep the show interesting in talking about movies & popular culture.
I'm a long time listener having started way back with just the second episode, which I only just realized is a good 10 years ago. The two Matt's continue to keep it fresh and prove to be quite entertaining over such a long time, they must be doing something right.
If you are interested in movies you should check out this podcast.
