We’re Chris & Trent 👋 2 friends hosting a funny, queer podcast in Salt Lake City. Join us each week as we cover stereotypes, history lessons, interesting interviews, and everything in between.
If you're straight, you might be asking: "Uhhhh what is Masc4Masc?" If you're gay™ you can keep scrolling while we break it down. Masc4Masc is an overused term in the gay community (primarily in hookup culture) that plays into a larger conversation about gay toxic masculinity and what it means to be a queer, gay, femme, etc. man. Essentially, someone who is using this on—let's say grindr—is letting the internet know they are masculine seeking masculine (a.k.a. Masc4Masc).

SOOOOO we picked the name Masc4Masc to be silly and poke fun at an outdated trope. Each week, we'll talk about the things we love & hate, we'll play some games, and dissect some stereotypes along the way.

Victorchavez_mx ,

Greetings from a Mexican fan in Canada!

Hi there!

I just found you somehow this morning while I was going to school, and am totally excited about what you do!

As it’s said on the tittle, I am Mexican currently living in Canadá! I am 19 years old and moved on my own to the city of Vancouver last year. One of my life dream is to also serve as an inspiration of the future young LGBT community members to be themselves and have a voice for the good of our world.

Thank you for sharing your stories and opinions, it’s amazing to have someone that we can listen to and relate. It’s kinda new to me to be on my own as a young gay guy since I come from a country where it’s LGBT culture isn’t as developed as in the States or Canada. Please keep up the great work, and am looking forward to hear more from you guys!

With love,
Víctor Chávez
