    094 - What Is Freedom?

    094 - What Is Freedom?

Some people think that freedom is something that we’re all entitled to. Something that is granted to us just because we were born.
This is entirely false – You were not granted the freedom to earn as much money as you want or the freedom to do whatever you want with your time.
Both of these freedoms you have to fight for, because if you don’t, you’ll end up in the prison of a job you don’t like and time you don’t control.
This is why today’s episode is so important. Coach George Wang is going to be talk about what freedom actually is, and how to get it in the world we live in, and by the end you’ll be reminded of what you’re really here for in life and how to live that life of freedom, on your terms.

092 - How To Be A Good Mugger

There’s a story of 2 muggers. Both live on the same block and both decide to rob the same type of person. Both people being robbed have the same money, clothes, and accessories on.
One mugger ends up walking away with $100 and the other $300. If they both robbed the same type of person with the same money, clothes, and accessories on, what’s the difference between these 2 muggers?
There’s a difference between linear thinking and exponential thinking, and the mugger who earns $300 is the exponential thinker. He goes beyond the immediate need and thinks how he can leverage his time and energy to make exponential gains.
How does he do it? You’ll have to listen to this episode where Coach George Wang explains the full story in detail and the mindset this mugger had in order to make 3x more than his counterpart.

091 - What Your Decisions Say About You

Everyone in life has things that happen to them, and a lot of these things are negative experiences. Each person also has the choice to decide what those experiences are going to mean to them.

One will choose to see the world as unfair, and seek retribution from society. The other takes responsibility for their own life, and asks, how can I use this. How can I still reach all my goals even though this negative thing happened?
Your life is all about your choices and decisions, and in this episode, Coach George Wang is going to talk about how we come to those decisions. What’s the difference, where does this come from, and who can we look at for inspiration when we feel we’ve been victimized.

090 - Lessons Learned From Mr Rogers

090 - Lessons Learned From Mr Rogers

Mr. Rogers was an icon for a lot of us. We all remember his songs, the sweater, and of course, all the lessons he taught us. While there were a lot of lessons we learned from him on camera as children, there are a few lessons we can learn as adults from what transpired in his life off camera

The first is a lesson in following your purpose in life vs following your passion, and how Mr. Rogers was able to follow his purpose in life and infuse his passion into it.

Another lesson is one in business. Today, we hardly see or hear of anything related to him anymore, and that’s because he had a few very specific rules about advertising and marketing. Unfortunately, these rules made it so that children growing up today will never grow up with the wonderful lessons he taught so many.

In this episode, Coach George Wang goes in depth about these 2 lessons. Why you need to follow your purpose as opposed to your passion, and the choice he made that is preventing children today from hearing his message.

089 - Get What You Want From Others

089 - Get What You Want From Others

Want a specific result, give specific directions

How do you get others to take the specific actions you want – The answer is pretty simple, give them specific directions Too often though, we give vague instructions or vague requests, and are frustrated when we don’t get the result we want.

There’s a cognitive bias called the false consensus effect which is the tendency for people to think that other people think like that. They think others have the same beliefs and would take the same actions in any given scenario.

This is why we sometimes give vague instructions or vague requests, think “it’s common sense” how it should be done. This is false, and in this episode, we’re going to talk about this effect and how to instead of letting it hinder us, use it to understand others and how they think.
