Customer Reviews
Well done, great variety
A well balanced mix of topics that makes for easy listening. Nicely produced and professionally done. Feels like Monocle - smooth and sophisticated.
Why include audio of George Floyd dying?
I wish there was a content warning, and truly just not played at all, for the audio of George Floyd dying. There needs to be more care in sharing this kind of audio footage, as it is traumatizing for black people. It’s easy for non black people to separate themselves from the deaths of black people by easily sharing this kind of violent content.
Where are the maps?
An entire episode on subway maps, including a discussion of a couple specific examples, without links so your listeners can follow along is somewhat useless, and disrespectful to your listeners. Not on the website, episode notes, or anywhere. Why bother listening if you can’t follow along??
