More Gooder Than Podcast Cory, Chris and Donnie

The One.  Spider-Man:  Into the Spider-Verse.  Everything Everywhere All At Once.  You guessed it, Home Trees!  This week we'll be taking a look at movies that have one thing in common:  all of them showcase that gem of the Golden State, sunny Los Angeles!  Eh?  What's that?  Spider-Man is a New Yorker?  Well, shoot.  I have no idea what ties these movies together.  Maybe there's an alternate universe where Spider-Man is douchebag surfer guy or something, I don't know.  It all seems so futile and meaningless.  Bagels!  All these movies have something to do with bagels.  Regardless, enjoy our second reunion episode, Leeloo Dallas Multiverse!

Ding dong!  Guess who's back for another reunion episode?  Hopefully we don't cock it up with our free-swinging discussion.  In addition to revealing the movies in next week's main episode, we really turn the knob and get to the root of one very simple truth:  we missed our Home Trees and while we may have formally ended the podcast, our love for you weenies will frankly never peter out.  Time may stalk us, the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune may prick us, but we'll never give you guys the shaft.  That's the More Gooder Than guarantee!

What's up, Home Trees!  It's us, ya boys!  After a long and crazy year, for which we claim no responsibility (wear a mask, people!), we decided to get back together for a reunion show in order to honor one of the greats.  We just lost Sean Connery, a true chameleon and a master of the craft.  We decided to take a look at the Untouchables, the Hunt for Red October, and the Rock.  Three movies that... really showcase the range and depth of one of our favorite knights of the realm.  So pour yourself a neat scotch, sit back while enjoying the roominiess of your clan tartan kilt, and enjoy Resht in Peesh!

Three oafish knaves will sit in a moving domicile,     Saying many things and nothing at the same time;     Their words will echo o'er the globe,     Then go silent.  Or maybe they get eaten by a bear, fuck if I know.     Thus spake Nostradamus many centuries ago.  We usually don't put much stock in soothsayers at More Gooder Than... but ol' Nosty might have been on to something with that one.  As foretold, the time has come.  Our final episode is here, and we wanted to go out with a Goodie Bag so we could hear from some of our awesome friends that we made on this crazy journey, and reminisce about just how cool the podcasting community is and how grateful we are to be a part of it.  You guys have truly been the best fans, friends, and family we could have ever hoped for.  Peace out, Home Trees!  We love you all!

Holy switcheroo, Home Trees! For our final two episodes,we decided to flip the script. We felt that the Goodie Bag was a more proper farewell, so this week you'll get the 'main' ep first! We each brought a movie to the table that we wanted to get on the show, but never managed to squeeze in. Donnie suggested Brick, Chris offered up Road House (for which we will never forgive him), and Cory brought some obscure space opera called Rogue One. So the theme for this week is 'because we wanted to.' Be sure to tune in next week for the More Gooder Than finale, but for now please enjoy The Finale.

He's just a Poe boy, he needs no sympathy! Hey there, Home Trees-- it's our penultimate episode and did we watch some really great movies this week! We took a look at some of the less starwarsy films of Guatemalan hunk of sizzling churrasco Oscar Isaac. Sucker Punch, Ex Machina, and Annihilation all go under the lens for an episode we've cleverly titled And the Oscar Goes to... Isaac! That guy really likes playing support roles behind strong female leads, doesn't he?
