Nature vs Narcissism is a true crime/comedy podcast based in Cincinnati, Ohio where Heather and her guests discuss true crimes and the narcissists who commit them. Sometimes we have alcohol and sometimes things get weird. In Season 1, we went down the alphabet focusing on different murderers and/or stupid criminals based on their name. For example; Episode 1 examines two notorious murderers whose names begin with the letter A. Season 2 we will go down the alphabet focusing on different serial killers/spree killers/murderers who were from or committed most of their crimes in cities/towns with each respective letter of the alphabet. For example, we may focus on someone from Cincinnati, Ohio for the letter C. Every episode is different and every episode is entertaining! We will delve into whether we think nature made the criminals commit these heinous acts, or if it's simply their narcissism getting the best of them. Keep in mind, this podcast is strictly for entertainment purposes and is in no way a professional diagnosis of the subjects discussed.

    December 24 - December 24, 2007
    Near Carnation, Washington
In the home of Wayne Scott Anderson and Judy Anderson; 6 family members were murdered
    But by whom?
The journey to justice would take 8 years, but eventually the killers would face the consequences...

What do you think about this case? Do you think that the prosecution is correct in stating that the motive was money and Anderson's belief that she was mistreated by her parents and brother?

Day 22 - December 22 (Ronald Gene Simmons Sr. Annihilates his Family)

Day 22 - December 22 (Ronald Gene Simmons Sr. Annihilates his Family)

    December 22 - December 28, 1987
    Dover and Russellville, Arkansas
Over the course of a one week period, Ronald Gene Simmons Sr. murdered a total of 16 people.
Most of whom (14 to be exact) were his own family members...but police didn't know that he had killed his own family until they attempted to contact them on December 28, 1987 AFTER he had killed 2 and wounded 4 others in a 45 minute rampage around town...
When it was his time, he welcomed death with open arms...
This killing spree has been described as the worst mass murder in Arkansas history and the worst crime involving one family in the history of the country.

What do you think about this case? Pretty messed up, right? Do you think he killed his entire family because he couldn't take the pressure or the guilty conscience of what he did to his daughter?

Miss Bonnie Lee ,

darkdividepod ,

Love it!

Heather and Kim have such a cool thing going! I appreciate their sensitive approach to the cases they cover but they also manage to keep things light and fun which makes for such easy listening! Love the family friendly episodes too! Not only is it really cool to hear perspectives from youth, but I think it's an amazing example of educational and relevant discussions about important topics that many parents would rather avoid. Just keeps getting better and better!
