    Engaging Your Facebook Group

Welcome back to another episode of the Not So Wimpy Entrepreneur Podcast!

Are you worried about how to keep your Facebook group engaged after you launch it? Let’s break it down.

Today on the podcast, we are talking about how to get your Facebook group engaged. Moreover, how to get them posting, commenting, clicking, and responding to you.

If you missed the previous episodes about Facebook groups, you might want to go back when you have a chance. All together, these episodes will teach you everything you need to know to get your Facebook group off the ground.

This is the episode I've really been looking forward to, because this is what I love to talk about. I love giving you ideas for getting your group engaged.

    Episode 45 Takeaways:
    + Post every single day.
+ Batch your content creation and schedule your posts.
+ Consider outsourcing your post creation.
+ If you want people to comment, ask questions.
+ Utilize research questions and fun questions.
    + Post positive pep-talks.
    + Share your freebies/lead magnets.
+ Post things more than once! Not everyone will see every post.
+ Share links to your content.
    + Share your resources.
    + Ask easy-to-answer questions.
+ When you’re starting your group, reply to everything you can.

Experimenting with ways to get your group members engaged is so much fun! Remember that engagement will always ebb and flow. Don’t beat yourself up when one post doesn’t do as well as another. It just happens. You’re still doing an amazing job!

If you want some more ideas, I have a free resource for you that includes 50 different posts for your Facebook group. What makes this resource so great is that while there are 50 posts, when you read each question, it will lead you to think about ten more questions. So… that’s a whole lot of posts. You can get hold of it HERE.

    Launching a Facebook Group

Welcome back to another episode of the Not So Wimpy Entrepreneur Podcast!

What’s holding you back from launching a Facebook group? Fear? Imposter syndrome? Lack of knowledge?

Today we’re talking all about the logistics of launching your Facebook group.

If you didn’t catch last week’s episode, you might want to go back and listen, because we talked all about the difference between a Facebook page and a Facebook group, and the benefits of having a group.

This week we’re really going to get deeper into how you can successfully launch your group. But it’s so worth it, and hopefully, by the end of this episode, it won’t seem overwhelming at all!

    Ready? Let’s do it!

    Episode 43 Takeaways:

+ Be clear in your group description.
    + Ask incoming members questions.
+ Get new members on your email list.
+ The better you set up your rules, the better your community will be.
+ Tags help people find your group in a Facebook search.
+ Use a welcome post to introduce yourself and your vision.
+ Have an exclusive freebie inside your group.

Next week, we’re going to be continuing our discussion about Facebook groups. I'm going to talk all about growing the group that you have now launched!

Don’t forget, I have a free resource for you that includes 50 different posts for your Facebook group. How a Facebook Group Can Grow Your Business

How a Facebook Group Can Grow Your Business

Welcome back to another episode of the Not So Wimpy Entrepreneur Podcast!

Are you ready to find out how you can grow your business?

For the next few episodes, I want to talk about something that I consider to be one of my superpowers and something that I kind of nerd out about, but that I have never recorded an episode about on this podcast.

Are you ready? We're starting a series all about Facebook groups.

I LOVE Facebook groups, so I am doing four different episodes, just for you, to explain why I love them so much and why you should think about using them.

I’m going to kick it off today by sharing with you the many different ways that a Facebook group can help you to grow your business.

    Episode 42 Takeaways:

+ Facebook groups can increase your sales.
+ You should start with a Facebook page and THEN consider a group.
+ A Facebook group can be a great place to build relationships.
+ There's more value because everyone is sharing, not just you.
+ Create a group for a specific niche.
+ In groups, you can find a goldmine of content ideas.
+ Facebook groups are great for list building.
+ They are full of eager buyers.

The biggest difference between Facebook pages and groups is that groups are much more personal. Groups provide a place where you can have conversations and build relationships with the people who are going to buy your products and show up for you.

In the next episode, I'm going to be talking about how to launch your Facebook group, so be sure to tune back in next week!

    Onboarding & Training Team Members

    Onboarding & Training Team Members

Welcome back to another episode of the Not So Wimpy Entrepreneur Podcast!

Are you putting off hiring because you're just too busy right now?

News flash: You will always be busy! And the sooner you hire, the sooner that can change.

Today we're continuing the discussion we've been having for the last several weeks about hiring and leading your team.

This episode is going to be specifically about onboarding and training your team members. This is something that can be really hard to navigate if you know nothing about it! That was me. I made all the mistakes, so now you get to learn from them!

We’re talking about how to train, how to get systems in place, and how to prepare for the future success of your business.

    Episode 40 Takeaways:
+ Train the position instead of the person.
+ Set yourself up now for your future success.
    + Use tools to onboard.
+ Create videos to train new team members.
+ Have new hires spend a week or two studying your business.
+ Do a ninety-day trial period with all your hires.
+ Start creating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Not having SOPs set up is not an excuse not to hire.

Nothing is ever perfect. You don’t need to have perfect systems in place before you hire. In fact, you can hire someone to create those systems for you if you want to!

By onboarding and training new team members, you are investing in the future success of your business. Sound like a good idea? It is! Be sure to tune in to this week's episode.
