Finishing the regular season versus the Avalanche
It was an emotional night at the Mullett Arena last night between the Edmonton Oilers and the Arizona Coyotes. The Coyotes are Utah bound and last night ended their stay in the desert. However, they at least managed to send their fans home somewhat happy defeating the Oilers 5-2.
Liam O'Brien got the scoring started with his 5th of the season. Then Lawson Crouse, Matias Maccelli, Dylan Guenther and Sean Durzi all got in on the action for their final goals in Arizona. The Oilers countered with goals from Sam Carrick and Warren Foegele, which was his 20th of the season, but it wasn't enough.

The final game in Arizona versus the Coyotes
The Edmonton Oilers finish off the regular season this week with two games on the road. Tonight, it the Arizona Coyotes on the menu for what is likely the final game in Phoenix for the Coyotes. The last time Edmonton was at the Mullett Arena, Evander Kane scored a pair of goals in the win. However, last week, the two Western Conference opponents faced off and the Coyotes came away with a 3-2 victory. Matias Maccelli scored the overtime winner giving the Yotes maximum points.

Connor McDavid scores his 100th assist of the season
The Edmonton Oilers took care of business last night defeating the San Jose Sharks with ease. The Oilers scoring nine goals in the first 40 minutes to win the game 9-2. Connor McDavid returned to the lineup and picked up 100th assist of the season, making his the fourth player in the NHL to hit that mark. He joins Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Bobby Orr as the only players to score 100 assists in a single season.
Darnell Nurse, Adam Henrique and Dylan Holloway all had three point nights with Holloway and Henrique each grabbing a goal. Warren Foegele, Evan Bouchard, Zach Hyman, Corey Perry, Cody Ceci and McDavid each contributed a goal to the final score too.

Taking on the Sharks after a bad weekend
Life without Connor McDavid wasn't good this weekend for the Edmonton Oilers. On Friday, they dropped a 3-2 decision to the Arizona Coyotes in overtime and followed that up with a 3-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks, which ultimately ended any hope of winning the Pacific Division.
Tonight, Edmonton gets a chance to bounce back when they face the San Jose Sharks, the worst team in the NHL. The Sharks has won three of their last ten games with a couple of wins over the St Louis Blues and the Seattle Kraken. The last time these two teams met Edmonton beat the Sharks 5-0 in San Jose.
Later in the program, the guys are joined by two former NHLers. First Jason Demers makes his weekly appearance. With the former Oiler, they'll talk about life without Connor McDavid, planning for the Los Angeles Kings in round one and his thoughts ahead of tonights game in San Jose.
After Demers, former Washington Capital and Edmonton native Jason Chimera joins the show. With Jason, they'll catch up on what he's been doing recently and get his overall thoughts on the Oilers.

The Coyotes final trip to Edmonton
The Edmonton Oilers are back on the ice tonight to take on the Arizona Coyotes at Rogers Place. However, Connor McDavid likely won't play again after missing the game on Wednesday in a 5-1 win over the Vegas Golden Knights. Despite possibly missing tonight's game, there is still a chance fans see him on Saturday versus the Vancouver Canucks.
Tonights game is the Yotes fourth of a five game round trip around Western Canadian and California. On Wednesday, Dylan Guenther lead the way in a 4-3 overtime for Arizona versus the Canucks. The former Edmonton Oil King finished the night with four points including an assist on Logan Cooley's overtime winner.
Later in the program, former Edmonton Oilers forward Luke Gazdic joins the show at 12:20. With Luke, the guys will talk about Wednesday's impressive 5-1 win over Vegas without McDavid and how he thing the team adapted without him. Additionally, the guys will go around the NHL with him talking about the Arizona Coyotes relocation, Mark Stone returning to practice and the Flyers collapse in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Oilers beat the Golden Knights 5-1 without McDavid
The Edmonton Oilers took care of business last night despite Connor McDavid missing from there lineup. The Oilers defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-1 to extend their win streak to three. Additionally, the Vancouver Canucks lost against the Arizona Coyotes in overtime yesterday, which narrows the gap to four with five games to play for Edmnonton.
Cody Ceci, Mattias Ekholm, Zach Hyman and Leon Draisaitl all snapped home goals last night. Also, Dylan Holloway scored in his return to the lineup after capitalizing on a mistake from Adin Hill. Stuart Skinner was excellent between the pipes too, stopping 19 of the 20 shots he faced.
