Leafs, Jets, Oilers, and Canucks all started hot out of the gate for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Dean is a Leafs fan but wanted to talk about how INSANE the vibe is in Winnipeg. Jets fans are built differently and deserve some National Pub.

If you've been paying attention to the news in Canada, Umar Zameer's story is one of the biggest in years. We went over the details of his arrest and acquittal, which included the Judge firmly accusing TPS officers and counsel of trying to sell multiple lies to put an innocent man in prison for the rest of his life.
If you have any trust issues with police or have ever been wrongly arrested or prosecuted (Like Lochlin for littering in the 10th grade - lol), this story will trigger the shit out of you.

Mr Zameer was just acquitted of first-degree murder charges in the miserable death of a Toronto Police Service member, Constable James Northrup.

PM Trudeau's political future looks like it's ending. Warren Kinsella on the Charles Adler podcast leaked that Trudeau's faithful are organizing leadership bids for Domenc Leblanc and Mark Carney. We discuss the relief the country will feel regardless of who we vote for.

Welcome back. Lochlin is VERY angry at the Trudeau government for the new "wealth tax." He owns multiple homes and's now voting for PeePee because Trudeau raised the capital gains tax by 17% for any transaction over $250k.
We discuss the purpose of wealth tax, its effect on real estate, and affordability. We also discuss how Lochlin has no desire to "take it in the hoop" anymore, but do we feel sorry for the extremely wealthy who have to pay their fair share of taxes? And why the FUCK are we not going after tax-dodging corps like Lobaws, who hide hundreds of million in taxes from the CRA.
Tim Horton's introduced a new pizza, and it sucks. Not one positive review from anyone who's tried it makes us wonder wtf happened to this once proud institution.
Playoff hockey is upon us, and we have a Leafs/Bruins first-round series. Dean is putting money on the Leafs losing in 7 because that happens yearly. Sharp money has Bruins in seven, and so does the comedic money.
