    Ep 196: Homemade English Muffins

Up first: the James Beard Award announcement for the best books in the Baking & Desserts (and Health!) categories! Equally exciting discoveries of both extensive and whimsical measuring spoon sets are discussed before the hosts move on to this week's Recipe Review of Homemade English Muffins by Gemma Stafford. ⭐️ FOR ANYONE WHO ❤️ BAKING or WANTS TO TRY⭐️

If I could only express how I feel !
I cannot begin to share or explain to you how happy I was to find this podcast!
I find these two ladies soothing to my soul 💛. I enjoy the way they interact with each other. They are so genuine and warm and their friendship truly comes through their podcast. They have great conversations about recipes and more . I love the whole concept of how they choose a recipe , each bake it separately and then we get to find out how things went with the finished product . Tips, tricks, the good and the bad.
I am really looking forward to catching up on every episode they have and I look forward to hearing many more to come! For me , PREHEATED podcast is my decadent and special treat . Really don’t want to share with anyone else - lol - but because I want to give all the praise and appreciation I can to both of them , I will have to share them with others! 😊
Thank you ladies for what you do and how you do it!! 💛💛💛💛👍
( Hope you received my email as well)

Al Chemilla ,

Love these guys!

These two bakers are the real deal. Their themes are diverse, and the baked goods they test out are varied and interesting. They also mention sources for recipes and information, so it’s clear they do research to back up their information. I can’t bake as much as I like being a Type 1 diabetic, so I make up for it by learning about baking. This podcast ticks all the boxes.

Very entertaining!

I love the format of this podcast! Andrea & Stefin start off every episode with an invitiation to listeners to pour themselves a coffee or to put the kettle on, and to sit back and listen to banter about baking. The ladies are warm and engaging, and it feels like I am being welcomed into their homes Every week they pick a recipe that they will both bake in the upcoming week, The recipe is shared on their website so that listeners can bake-along if they wish. The following week, Andrea & Stefin talk about how the bake went, share any 'trials & tribulations" they had with the recipe, and whether they liked the outcome. It is obvious that they are great friends with a mutual love of baking. They are not professionally trained pastry chefs so the discussions are not overly technical; rather, the tone is light-hearted and fun. Every episode always brings a smile and giggle. Thank you Andrea & Stefin! A devoted fan.
