Pretty Sure I Can Fly is a humorous exploration of things that had never been done, until someone did them. It’s a series of weekly conversations about what it takes to break through the barrier of “impossible” and set new standards for human limitation. Pretty Sure I Can Fly is like going to history class, except your teachers are actor, stuntman, and outlaw radio DJ Johnny Knoxville and long-time This American Life contributor Elna Baker. And each week they bring a new guest to tell you all about how they “grabbed the bull by the bunglesteen” or “really hogwrenched that spatooly.”

Great idea!!

Start by saying the idea behind this podcast is great. Talking to different people in different fields that accomplished great feats of human ability. Great. Knoxville? Always great. Love hearing him. The one thing I can’t stand… and I’m sticking with this podcast for a few more episodes guaranteed, but I can’t stand it when someone’s every other word is like. I’m sure Elna is a wonderful person. I don’t know if she’s just new to talking on a podcast or what. Fully willing to let her get better. Without question. But she says like a lot!!! I’m sorry. Such a nitpick. But in real life I also can’t stand when someone says like a lot. So hearing that when she talks makes it tough to get through even though she learning a whole new area of human nature. I wish them the best because it is such a unique and different podcast.
