ThatLatinxChick ,

Bravo

As someone who is a Queer Quechua Bolivian-American Latinx currently living in Toronto, this podcast is a blessing ^_^ I grew up around music from the Andes and to be honest I didn’t like it so much because the music while lively was always depressing. I understand we come from a place of struggle, but for a little kid it was not something I wanted to hear. So the rare times I listen to latinx music was mostly pop (and Selena). Now that I’m in my mid-twenties I’m starting to listen more and your podcast is introducing me to a lot of great new music and giving a nice re-introuction to oldies. Thanks for existing and coming from a place where I know you folks get me ^_^.

The podcast you and I need

Verónica and Miriam are full of insight, passion, love, and joy. It's such a pleasure to hear their reflections and anectodes. I don't even come for the music as much as the for the opportunities to reflect on my Latinidad and the experiences of the diaspora. Thank you to both of them.
