Talking through the Headlines
As P Nate and Pootie prepare for their trip south they take the time to quickly record a new episode talking through the headlines of the day. The Rebel podcast is meant to help equip you to engage culture with a biblical worldview, so thinking Christianly about what’s going on is a necessary first step.

Rebel Podcast Haunted Cosmos: some praise and a warning
After the popularity of our Biblical Cosmology series in the fall last year, Pootie finally plays catch up listening to the Haunted Cosmos and the Rebels nerd out on the unhinged.
There is an immense value in Christians understanding what the Bible has to say about the unseen realm, but pastorally P Nate wanted to issue a warning that this is an important secondary issue in scripture that can sometimes become dangerous if we make a secondary storyline THE storyline. -
The Allistar Begg Controversy & The Moscow Mood
After P Nate and Joe Boot talked at length last week about the Alistair Begg controversy, the Rebels take some time to reflect on the animosity towards what has recently been called "The Moscow Mood" by Kevin De Young.
How should Christians engage with controversy, error and cultural issues. What's loving? What's tone policing? And what do the scriptures say?

The 2023 Book Reading Challenge Reveal
Oddly this episode is one of our most popular and most asked for... so get ready for some cringey boasting as P Nate, Pootie and Air Jordan come back together with their 2023 book lists going through what books they read, how many and what books won the fairly arbitrary rewards we mostly made up on the spot.

How to Win the Hearts of the Men
2 Samuel 15 tells us about a subtle rebellion: "And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him. Thus Absalom did to all of Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel."
We live in an age when men have been told their masculinity is toxic and not welcomed in this new progressive world. The choice is either abandon your God given masculinity or follow the Absaloms of our day.
How can the church win the hearts of the men back? -
Family Integrated Worship
The Rebels pick up on a conversation had on the Ezra Podcast for Cultural Reformation about Family Integrated Worship and ministry.
P Nate and Pootie talk about this theological commitment at their own church, the scriptural foundation and spiritual fruit it has borne.

Great insight
Thanks again brothers for some good insight on these important issues.
Not real Christians
Jesus would have absolutely abhorred this hateful drivel.
Refreshing!
This podcast is refreshing, insightful, relevant and clear when connecting the Biblical worldview to right now on a variety of topics. Nate and Chris don’t skirt around any issues and have helped me understand the difficult parts of the Bible and make them make sense to me. Plus they are witty and entertaining to listen to. Thanks guys!
