Of particular interest is his book "Is There a Meaning in this Text?" If you enjoyed this episode, you will similarly enjoy this book. Very thought-provoking and highly recommended.

    Adam Clark—Spiritual Practices and Contemplation

    Adam Clark—Spiritual Practices and Contemplation

Adam Clark speaks with John and Dan about spiritual practices, contemplation, and moral formation. His perspectives are insightful because all too often we tend to understand our Christian faith primarily in terms of beliefs and ideas instead of practices and life trajectories. Clark’s argument is that theology is actually rooted both in ideas and in the active pursuit of love and justice.

Can't wait for season 2!

This podcast is one of my favourite religion/philosophy/theology podcasts. Although I don't listen to a lot in this genre, this is one of the few that I wait for new episodes to come out to see what's being discussed. I am very liberal in my views/ One of the hosts is more liberal than the other, but it'd be nice to had someone with more hard-line conservative views to try and provide another perspective in addition to both of them.
Definitely worth-while for anyone who is a Christian or just interested in Christianity. I'm looking forward to what topics will be coming on season 2!

Can't stop listening.

Love this podcast. I drive 4 hours a day for work and have been keeping up with all of the episodes. I haven't listened to one I haven't enjoyed yet.

I have been in the process of deconstructing my faith for a couple of years now. This podcast is full of excellent discussion and debate which has been helping me reconstruct what I believe. It's a must listen for sure.

Doing the hard work

I am very happy to have found this podcast! There's nothing like it that I've found online so far. This is a show for those of us who want to stay in the Church, want to love and trust God in Christ, relearn why the bible is good even if it's not inerrant, follow Jesus in the real world, and who are sick and tired of spinning their tires in constant unravelling deconstruction. If it feels like it's time to find some constructive stable ground again, tune in to Reconstruct!
