099 Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997)
In the penultimate episode of Reel Bad, we dive into the special effects-laden world of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation; a video game movie that keeps up the tradition of video game movies being terrible. But... is it at least fun? Nick, Sam, Tuna, and Marie Ann all try to figure that out.

098 Hella-Raiser (Final Four Hellraiser Films)
We finally did it. We watched the final four Hellraiser films, which were not all originally intended to be Hellraiser films. But... the director of Doctor Strange, the Man of Steel himself, and the voice of Cyborg on one of Nick's favorite cartoons pepper this group of sequels. Enjoy as Nick, Matt, Tuna, and Sarah all try to make sense of these movies.

096 Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010)
SURPRISE! It's a new episode... and it's a doozie! James Nguyen wanted to make a Hitchcockian film to warn us about global warming. He managed to do half of that. In this episode, Aimee, Valerie, Matt, and Nick take on one of the great modern bad movies: Birdemic: Shock and Terror.

095 Spawn (1997)
Effects, effects, and more effects. Today, we're talking about computer graphics and how they relate to a little comic book film called Spawn. Rachel, Nick, Tuna, and Bill tackle this tragic misfire.

Reel Good
This podcast speaks to my deep love of bad movies! It makes me so happy to listen to Nick and guests rant and rave about the bad flick they’ve survived this week. Nick and guests often bring insight and background knowledge to their takes on these movies that both gives me appreciation of the good parts and makes me hate the bad parts even more. Nick’s pure rage at bad movies is utterly enjoyable but the other side of Nick’s pure and genuine love of good film also clearly shines through. Matt is a perfect partner and arch fr-enemy to Nick where he brings opposition to Nick’s hate with jolly love of bad 80’s and 90’s nostalgic films and opposition to Nick’s indifference to not-so-bad flicks with unadulterated sass. I also just completely cherish any episode with Nicole, Sam, or Ceri as I just yearn to have co-workers and friends like these! Always so excited to see new episodes show up in my subscriptions!
