Ep105: Can People Really Change?
Can people really change? That is a question that I believe ranks right up there with some of life’s most interesting questions like, ‘what’s the meaning of life’.Recently on my Facebook newsfeed, one of my friends posted this question:“Do people truly change? Say you knew someone years ago who was self-serving, two-faced, user; do you think it's possible for them to REALLY become different people?”I would like you to take a moment to ponder that question for a couple minutes.I was surprised at the difference between the comments that were on my friends thread as opposed to when I posed a similar question to my FB friends list. It definitely shows how the kind of people that you surround yourself with, even on social media, can affect your view on the world.

The Art of Listening
Fantastic podcast Sheila! Straight forward advice on how to be a better listener. Truly enjoyed another one of your topics, keep them coming!
Society has to realize that listening is actually part of communication. As a sales/business coach I spend quite some time on the 'art' of listening and teaching it. I have been told that it does work not only in their business life, but also in their personal life and they had come to the realization that they were not listening to their significant other.
Thanks for this reinforcement Shila.
Helpful guidance with specifics for improving my life. Also a good way to do an attitude reset if my mood changes in the day. Highly recommend!
