Built for Courage will help you:

Dive deeper into the stories, values, and beliefs you attach yourself to and decide once and for all if they have credibility or if it’s time to cut bait.

Incorporate fundamental habits and routines specific to you and your circumstances that will flood your daily life with consistency, flexibility, simplicity, and integrity.

Identify and, if necessary, adjust your goals to ensure they are clear, don’t belong to other people, and are not contingent on immediate results.

Accept failure as the richest source of intelligence and help you reframe it as a requirement for your own progress and growth.

    And much, much more.

Built for Courage gleans wisdom from sources vast and wide, as well as from the life experiences of Dave himself, to get you to the place you’re meant to go and become who you are meant to be, regardless of any anchor holding you back.

168: Built Through Courage | Your Identity

168: Built Through Courage | Your Identity

Last week, Built Through Courage was released and it is among the proudest professional achievements of my life. I wrote this book to help you understand that you were placed here for a specific purpose, but that unlocking that purpose is something that takes an abundance of courage. Beyond courage, it also requires having a candid, honest handle on where you are and a very clear vision of where you’re going so that you can practically understand what it’s going to take to get there. You can buy the book today anywhere books are sold, and if you do so now, you’re invited to a special private online event on Nov 2 ahead of 40 days of Mon - Fri morning book clubs starting Nov 3. I hope to see you there, and hope you enjoy this episode. Get Built Through Courage today, wherever books are sold!

Always delivers inspiration and a good laugh or two

I’ve been listening to Dave’s podcast for quite awhile. I love his energy, guest list and wisdom. The weekly Jon and Dave episodes are a perfect remedy on a Friday and the else two together are also a great buddy comedy duo.

I adore Rachel & Dave + the RISE Together podcast

I have been seeing so much backlash towards Rachel and Dave since they announced that they’re getting a divorce. I just started listening to their Rise Together podcast about a week ago and I am in love with it, my boyfriend and I have a healthy relationship (I like to think) but I am all for learning how to improve or learn of ways that I can show up better for myself and for him. I’m seeing so many people saying that the advice Rachel and Dave have given people are a lie and that they don’t trust a word they say anymore because now they’re getting a divorce, people are saying “why don’t you take your own advice and save your marriage”. Can you just stop for a moment and listen to yourselves??? They’ve been together for EIGHTEEN years, they have 4 children, they own a business, do you truly believe they didn’t do EVERYTHING in their power to try to save their marriage?! Give them a break, why do people make these situations about them and not the couple that are trying to get through a divorce. Yes, maybe no one saw it coming because they give such great marriage/relationship advice and because they seem so happy and in love but you can NEVER judge a book by its cover, you NEVER know what’s happening behind closed doors. Give them a break, they’re going through something extremely difficult and that will also (but hopefully not) effect their kids and their family. Just because their marriage didn’t work out does not mean that the advice and tips that they’ve given others aren’t valid anymore, it just means at the end of the day it wasn’t enough to save their marriage and what they’re experiencing but it does not make them any less of a human and it isn’t fair to give them backlash over something that probably took all of their courage to announce. Be better, people. I’m shaking my head at all of you that took the time to give their podcast 1 star reviews or write negative comments on their Instagram just because they announced what is probably one of the hardest decisions they’ve ever had to make public. Be better.
