Diversity of views and unedited: 👌
Robert Wright is a gem of a public intellectual with deep thoughts on the nature of our existence (delivered with dry wit) and he does a fantastic job curating this podcast series. The viewpoints are diverse, often heterodox, and always thought provoking. But unlike the egomaniacal Eric Weinstein and other IDWers, Robert doesn’t jack himself off constantly for platforming or espousing controversial viewpoints. He’s been doing it since before podcasting was cool (in fact he co-created podcasts — a true hipster). Thanks for all you do Bob.
One of the best pods around
Definitely my go-to for podcasts. Love Robert Wright and Glenn Loury (even though I never agree with him). Love the format too. Two smart folks talking. Topics are always interesting and the guests are very thoughtful and good talkers.
One of my favourites podcasts
I find most of these conversations very enlightening and occasionaly even fun. Besides bringing new information, points of view, and approaches to various subjects, they give us an opportunity to "eavesdrop" interesting intellectuals in their more or less 'casual' conversations about various topics that interest them. I also appreciate the attempt to bring different points of view. (The same goes for their related podcast Meaning of live TV, which I like even more.)
