Hey everyone, welcome to Rounds of Sound, hope you’re doing well

If you’re listening to this right now, you’re probably wondering what the hell Rounds of Sound is, and lucky for you, that’s exactly what this “episode” is about.

I say “episode” in quotes because this isn’t actually a full episode, but rather an explainer, trailer, teaser, what have you, for the show.

On each episode of Rounds of Sound we bring on a musical artist and talk about not only THEIR music, but the music that INSPIRED them. We have a rotating cast of hosts, so you’ll hear from different voices and different perspectives.

Here’s how it goes:

The host picks 3 songs from the artist.

In turn, the artists picks 3 songs from all of history that have inspired them.

We then go song-for-song through three “rounds” with brief chats in between.

Sometimes those chats are straight ahead and sometimes they go totally off the rails, but either way, you’ll probably learn some new stuff about your favorite artists.

Now, the thing is, Rounds of Sound is only available on Spotify. I know, I know, setting up barriers between the listener and the show is a pretty terrible strategy, BUT that’s the only way we can play songs in full without getting sued, so hopefully you understand where we’re coming from.
