S2E28 - A Conversation with D. Neil Elliott, Author of "A Higher Road" Our Spiritual Life

This episode features my conversation with D. Neil Elliott who discusses his book A Higher Road: Cleanse Your Consciousness to Transcend the Ego and Ascend Spiritually. The book is based on his own life, including experience of a very dark and difficult time in which he contemplated suicide, but fortunately he found resources that led him through a process of spiritual awakening. He has totally turned his life around and now is sharing his story and his life-changing process with those who are ready to turn their lives around. He talked about the importance of bridging science and spirituality, and he shares a very powerful message that he summarizes with this statement: "We're here to express God not please God". These happen to match my beliefs as well, so I'm happy to share his message. Elliott offers a seven stop process for doing what the book's subtitle promises, which includes the very important step of cleansing one's consciousness. A very interesting, intriguing, and enlightening discussion. Since the interview, I've read his book and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to ascend to higher consciousness - but being open-minded and receptive is key.
