Sam Chapman, Campaign Manager for the Yes On Measure 109 The Green Rush is real.

    • Business News

Sam Chapman, Campaign Manager Yes On Measure 109 (Psilocybin Therapy) is this week’s guest on the Green Rush. Measure 109 is a carefully crafted ballot initiative supported by medical experts, veterans, and people from over 300 Oregon cities to bring psilocybin therapy to Oregon.

Much like how Oregon led the U.S. on cannabis legalization, this year, on the ballot in Oregon, voters will be able to decide whether to approve the U.S.’s first medical psilocybin program. As the Campaign Manager for this initiative Sam has been instrumental in gaining support for this measure having helped gather over 164,000 signatures supporting the proposed legislation. Against all odds, including COVID-19 we may see the very first legal psychedelics market in the US.

Our host Anne Donohoe sat down with Sam to get a full update on the campaign and talk through some of the critical components of this initiative including why was Oregon chosen to lead the psychedelics movement, how the campaign has been funded, what the program will look like if voters approve of the measure and how long it will take to ramp up the market. Sam also provides more information on his background and how our listeners can get involved to help push this campaign across the finish line.

So don’t sit back, lean forward and enjoy!
