We also run through a few teams that pleasantly surprised us in the spring, including Arkansas with Bobby Petrino back calling plays for new QB Taylen Green, Mississippi State who has very low expectations for Jeff Lebby in Year 1 but QB Blake Shapen is good enough to pull off an upset, and Florida has a brutal schedule but still has talent on the roster with Graham Mertz and DJ Lagway.
And we touch on a few teams that may be a little bit overrated heading into this season. The Texas Longhorns will be very good, but are we overlooking all the talent they just lost to the NFL Draft? Does Mizzou take a step back this season, how big will the loss of RB Cody Schrader be for them?
