204. Selling The Car with Line Woods InTalksicated Podcast

    • Comedy Interviews

Hot Dang! This weeks episode is a comedy deep dive, with a true comedy badass.  Fresh off a Yuk Yuks show, I welcome comedian, screenwriter & filmmaker Line Woods to the podcast.   Line is a true powerhouse in the maritime comedy arena. She has proved herself as a killer on stage, and has a logical and proactive approach to producing high quality shows. Line is the first woman to have won the Hubcap Comedy Festival's Stand Up Comedy Contest, where she took home the prize in 2020.   In this episode her and I dive into: post show vulnerability, the art of giving & receiving feedback, protecting comedy highs, types of crowds, the business of comedy, navigating both french and english comedy scenes, the importance of diversity on shows and much more.    PLUS: at the top of the show we discuss our weird and kind of straight up awful week, and our favourite/least favourite parts of doing stand up.   Follow Line: @linewoods   Leave us a voicemail Email intalksicatedpodcast@gmail.com
