A call to follow Christ is to live expectantly Christ's return and how our future hope shapes (or should shape) our present.

    Luke 7

    Luke 7

    Luke Part 7 | Luke 12:13-34

There are a lot of reasons that lead us to just accumulate and want more and more. But our accumulation will not give us the security or the joy that we want - it's temporary, not eternal. So how do we stop our anxiety and worry and our desire to accumulate? This week we explore what it means to consider God in the midst of our worry, to preach to our hearts and remind ourselves that He is good! Christ became poor so we can be rich. How are we being called to look like Jesus, growing our kingdom mindset by doing things like giving, being on the look out, and more?

    Luke 6

    Luke 6

    Luke Part 6 | Luke 10:38-42 & 11:1-13

Prayer. This week we focus on Mary & Martha, as a contrast of showing just how much value Jesus placed in giving him our full attention in relationship, and how He desires for us to seek Him.

    Luke 5

    Luke 5

    Luke Part 5 | Luke 10:25-37

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, the original question of: “Who is my neighbour?” is the wrong question, for everyone is our neighbour!  The proper question is not “who is my neighbour,” but “am I a neighbour?”. You see, for Jesus, neighbourly love is something you feel and DO. The point of the parable is the last thing Jesus says - “Go and DO likewise."

    Oscars Weekend

    Oscars Weekend

Our yearly tradition of preaching on Oscar-nominated filmes - we explore some of the themes that come through the movies of our culture and ask how we can be pointed to Jesus.

    Movie: Jojo Rabbit

    Luke 4

    Luke 4

    Luke Part 4 | Luke 9:18-27; 57-62

This is a call to discipleship! What does it look like as Jesus invites us both to examine who He truly is, and who we are made to be as His followers? What does it mean to tangibly "take up our cross daily"?
