It didn't feel right to not pause this week and seek out some media that intentionally featured black queer stories, and we couldn't help but land on a movie that broke so much ground: Moonlight. At this juncture in our history, it feels so important to us to elevate voices in black media, so join us as we talk about this movie that changed so much in a whitewashed Hollywood.

Thanks for creating this podcast. As soon as I finished watching Gentleman Jack, I looked to see if there were any podcasts covering it, and I’ve been loving every minute of this one! I love how much you guys obviously love GJ. I love the humour and also the serious moments (especially when you reflect on how hard life can be for LGBTQ+ folks). Keep it up! Here’s to lots of low-pony Anne Lister in Season 2!
