NS9LIVE! Jared Jones Is Filthy & Quinn Priester Gets The Promotion
Tonight it's just Tyler & DiNardo so we should have a good time! Yes, the Pirates are struggling and yes, we will discuss some of that. However, we simply cannot get enough of Jared Jones so we're going to talk some more about him.
Jared Jones has been so dominant these first 4 starts and I still don't think we understand just how dominant he's been. With that said, are there any flaws with his game?
With the injury to Marco Gonzales it has been determined that Quinn Priester will get the call tomorrow to replace him in the rotation. How has Quinn performed so far in Triple-A and what do we expect from him in this rotation going forward? -
NS9 Postgame Show | Pittsburgh's Bats Stay Asleep and The Bullpen Struggles Pirates Fall to Mets 9-1
Cody goes solo to give you all a breakdown of today's action from the finale at Citi Field. The Pirates' Bats continued to struggle as they only managed to score 1 run. Bailey Falter gave up 2 runs on a home run to Starling Marte, but the Pirates bullpen let this one get out of hand in the 6th and 8th innings giving up a combined 7 runs.

NS9 Postgame Show: Jared Jones Dominates, Pulled Early in Pirates' 3-1 Loss to Mets
Jim & Tyler hop on to discuss tonight's Pittsburgh Pirates loss to the New York Mets. Jared Jones dominated through 5 scoreless innings but was lifted after just 59 pitches and a 1-0 lead. The bullpen then gave up 3 runs, including giving up the go-ahead run with a balk.

NS9 Postgame Show: Pirates Blow Lead; Lose 6-3 To Mets
Neil & Doug hop on discussing today's Pirates loss to the New York Mets. Martin Perez took the mound and was looking very solid until things unraveled for him in the 6th. Unfortunately, the Pirates were not able to come back from this and lost.
The offense didn't do much to help things with only having 3 hits. Although they walked 7 times, scoring 3 runs seemed about best case scenario there. -
Starbucs: Cutch Hits #300 While Marco Gonzales Hits 15-Day IL
Yesterday, Andrew McCutchen finally got the major milestone out of the way. He hit his 300th HR off of Ricardo Pinto in the 9-2 victory over the Phillies. While the Pirates seem to still be rolling, they had their first injury concern to their rotation as Marco Gonzales lands on the disabled list with forearm tightness.
The arms still keep producing in the minors and we bring on Anthony Murphy (@__Murphy88) from Bucs On Deck to talk the Pirates Farm.
Lastly, we take a look forward to this upcoming series vs the Mets -
NS9 Postgame Show: Andrew McCutchen Hits HR #300; Pirates Beat Phillies 9-2
CUTCH HITS 300! Neil & Doug discuss today's Pirates victory which all started with Mitch Keller taking the mound and out-dueling Zack Wheeler. The power finally came through for the Pirates as Jack Suwinski hit a grand slam which was followed by a solo shot by Joey Bart as well as Cutch's magical moment.
