One of the best podcasts!

Listening to the twins, their wives, the story. It would be so easy to pass judgement on this family but the way they shared their story honestly, vulnerably without excuses. They wanted to make things right for their families and what they went through to get there, the setbacks, but again all because they recognized that they didn't want that life for their families. Never was an excuse given, never was blame placed, they accepted their fates and want to do well in the world. They are smart, strategic but humble and recognize that what they did was wrong and accepted the consequences. Honestly would love to meet these families and hoping that the their wives are able to manage the time they have to do uneventfully and get to spend a happy life together for the remainder of their lives. Thank you for bringing us their story.

Wow

The twins are such good story tellers. I was so impressed with the way they painted a picture, I felt like I was watching a movie. I was eager to return to continue the story.

I’m heart broken to hear what is happening to their wives. This new prosecutor wants to hurt them just because he can. He downplays what it took to do what they did. They had the money to keep running but chose to do the right thing. They re-wrote their family’s stories and already live in so much fear for themselves and their families. Yet, you hear this prosecutor talk about them as if all he sees are some criminals. And how dare their wives try to make the best of things for their children. He almost wants to punish them for not suffering more.

To the prosecutor, I hope you read this and reflect within yourself and remember that these were children. And the mistakes you made as a child and that your children will make before they are twenty-five needs to be dealt with in a way that shows empathy because of their innocence. Especially for people who have only known one way of living. Please consider fighting for them to be released earlier. If you can find any kindness in your heart, please give it to them.

Jay and Pete, I pray for the health and safety of your families.

Riveting

I was going to change to a different podcast a few minutes into the first episode because the brothers are so soft spoken that I thought this series would be boring. Boy, was that a wrong assumption! These two men, their lives, their stories, their hope and insight are amazing! I highly recommend this series.
