Just before the pandemic some of the biggest names in Bush-crafting and primitive survival met in Alberta Canada and the Bushcraft symposium. Les Stroud was the main keynote speaker and while he was there, they asked if he would host a panel discussion with Dave Wescott, Mors Kochanski, David Halladay and Andre Bourbeau.

    Aradia, Part 2

    Aradia, Part 2

This is part two of my interview and morning coffee and jam session with the artist known as Aradia.  And again – it’s really more or a chill morning with coffee and a couple musicians kind of moment – not so much an interview.
Aradia is a self-produced multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter that brings something with originality and depth to the world of alternative pop. Her progressive, building arrangements echo elements of Robyn, Marina, Blondie and Roosevelt—artfully blending nu disco, 80s guitar rock and modern electronica.
Born in the New York City metropolitan area & studying music from early childhood, she is after a sojourn to Seattle & Los Angeles where she fine-tuned her craft and her sound, went back to NYC to focus on live performances & to release a string of anthemic singles. She now continues to do so from Long Island Sound in Connecticut.

Well worth your time

Really well pu together podcast by Les, I have been a big fan of Les for many years now, his environnemental consciousness and passion for nature is present in every episode. I really liked the Suzuki interview, to me these are the two most influential Canadian public figures. Really liked his take on Bigfoot, no fake sensational, commercial rhetoric from the major channels here. Just the good, authentic super versatile self made man we saw on the survivorman show, interviewing great public figures. Don’t miss out on it.
Thanks Les for all those years!

The real deal

I used to watch another “survival” show, but after watching one episode of Survivor Man, I was instantly converted. It had a more “realistic” feel to it, and been hooked ever since. When the pod came out, I gave it a shot and wasn’t disappointed. Les is still as realistic and down to earth as his shows are. And Canadian content never hurts either eh?
