Spiritual nutshell

Sometime I laugh hysterically. Sometimes I cry. Sometimes I question his sanity. Sometimes I question mine. I describe his show as a “spiritual” late night with Conan Obrian. Sometimes I can’t even fathom how his words touch and heal my heart. Other times I can hear the humanity in him and things he says make me angry or I truly disagree! But having the freedom to do that and still listen and learn and discern my truth. …that’s spirituality in a nutshell. Thank you Rob Bell for being so vulnerable and sharing your truth, wisdom and grace.

Also. I just listened to “this must be the void” which I’ve had apprehension over listening too. I haven’t read your book yet so have felt out of the loop the last few podcasts (yet is the operative word!) but I think I knew this one was going to touch me. It did. I laughed as I listened and said outloud “stop talking straight to me rob bell”. So much permission so much liberation and flexibility (the definition of mental health) - even if it was your purpose, your meaning making of life or traumas or whatever…it’s okay if that is shifting now and it has to die for new to be reborn. Loved every minute.

Oh and to your recent re-wiring: it was awesome to witness and a privilege to participate in (the art a specific highlight for me). ♥️

Christen and Trace Take Over

Christen quoted a scripture “train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it”. I was taught that meant that children were born with a bent towards something and it was our job as parents to discover what that is and help them along their bent or path. When Trace later talked about quantum physics, how particles move along any path until they are observed, then they stay on the same path. Can this verse mean, like quantum physics, children can go down many paths, but, when we observe them on the path that is right for them, to train them, help them along that path, and they will stay on it because it is the right path for them.

Spiritual tutor

I was sceptical at first, Rob has helped me to see and change my patterned behaviour. He’s also just a pleasure to listen to. Thank you Rob.
