Each guest shared their own personal experience with choosing their area of emphasis, along with advice for picking your area of emphasis, and what they are planning to do after graduation. This week Talk HTM sat down with Tanya, a 5th year hospitality and tourism management student to talk about the sustainability during her travel journey. Over the past year she has purchased and built out a cargo van to be more minimalistic. Listen as she talks about putting her dream into action. Her "it's now or never" approach to life really helped her in difficult times. She sets the example of how you can be positive and take on adventures even during a pandemic.

This week Talk HTM is chatting with Alec and Erica, two second-year students who were some of HTMSA's first-year representatives last year. They are going to share their experience of being a part of the association in a virtual setting and how saying yes changed their university experience. Alec and Erica share some of their best advice to new university students and provide the inside scoop on how getting involved and pushing past your comfort zones will only help make you stronger.
