We have not posted a podacst episode in a while for several reasons. Kitty has decided to leave the podcast, but returned for a special episode as we felt it was important to speak out in light of Black Lives Matter. 
 
This podcast episode we discussed a little of the history of dogs and racism, how stereotypes persist in the dog world, and what we can do. This is just a very brief overview as we try to keep episodes under an hour, so please do go and read up on Tyler Parry's research.

Dogfishing - Dogfishing is a newer dating-app phrase related to the practice of using a dog in profile pictures to lure more matches and conversations with potential dates. Often, the dog does not even belong to the person pictured and is merely being used as bait.      
 

Kitty and Gina give an update to last week's episode "Nuggets of Waffle", Kate Speer actually reached out to us and let us know what it is exactly that Waffy detects to alert to her PTSD flashbacks and OCD rituals. 
 
Since we love service dogs so much, Gina and Kitty discuss Molly Burke and her guide dog, Gallop this week. Molly is a YouTuber, motivational speaker, as a disability rights advocate. She lost the majority of her sight by age 14. Molly has so many amazing videos on her channel that show what life is like with her disability and guide dog.
