My favourite film podcast

Katie and Alex have great chemistry as hosts, and as a long time reader of the A.V. Club, I really respect and enjoy hearing their opinions about film and media. My favourite episodes are the ones where they discuss a particular topic (elevated horror, for instance) or film series (such as the Friday the 13th episode, or even the Godzilla episode, which I really enjoyed despite having never seen more than a couple minutes of any Godzilla film). It is a very thoughtful and critically minded yet easy to listen to podcast, and I look forward to it every week.

Thoughtful and Funny Conversations about Film

This a really great podcast, with discussions on a wide range of films. From festival fare to blockbusters, and everything in between, this podcast is great for discovering overlooked and underappreciated gems, as well as providing insight into popular films that you may have ignored. The episodes about specific topics are a highlight; a recent example being the episode about the blurry distinctions between TV and film. If its not obvious, I highly recommend listening.

Best movie podcast

These two are the most intelligent people talking about movies in podcast-dom. I only wish they did this more than just once a week.
