Captivating stories without all the excess host commentary.
I love how each guest is able to tell their story in detail without unnecessary commentary or cut-ins. Bryn is amazing at keeping her intros quick and simple and then sitting back and allowing guests lots of space to tell their stories. And the few times she does comment back it’s with a question that we all are wondering or a simple comment we all wish we could say - but it’s never floofy or excessive like 95% of podcast hosts these days.
I have cried, laughed and learned SO much about birth and all the various experiences that can happen. It’s definitely an amazing resource when pregnant to help you have a better understanding of what to expect and also what you may not expect.
Thank you Bryn and all the guests who take the time to share their experiences - the good and the challenging.

I have been listening to various podcasts since I became pregnant and honestly none of them stuck until I listened to The Birth Hour!
Bryn is an amazing host and interacts with her guests the perfect amount. I’ve listened to every episode and joined the Patreon to access archives because I literally couldn’t get enough! Will be recommending to all of my friends who are interested in birth or who are pregnant because I’ve honestly learned more from this podcast than any other resource throughout my pregnancy!
