Captivating
Excellent combination of nuclear science, analysis of the society, tension and psychology of the time, looking from a global perspective.
Painfully slow
I liked some of the previous series such as the moon landing but this one is drawn out way to slowly. Listening at 1.25x and it’s still soooooo slow.
Add to that a millennial who clearly has no concept of the state of the world at this time, the continued hand wringing and repetition to draw it out to the 15 or so episodes makes it unlistenable.
Absolutely fascinating
I enjoyed listening to this podcast immensely.
