BREAKING NEWS: Thatcher Demko is OUT for Game 2 vs the Preds, casting a serious shadow over the rest of the series. Matt and Blake get the Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli in studio right off the top of the show to break the news and get as many of the details as possible, including Frank’s guess on the possibility of a Demko return at some point. Matt and Blake react to the news, talk about possible system changes in light of the injury, and get into the goaltending history of Casey DeSmithw. We also hear from Canucks Head Coach Rick Tocchet and JT Miller on the path forward without Demko.

Canucks take down the Preds to open up the playoffs! Lots to chat about today after a thriller in Vancouver on Sunday night. Matt and Blake go over all of it and look ahead to the adjustments coming as they try to hold serve at home and head to Nashville up 2 games to none.
Former Canucks Head Coach Marc Crawford joins as a guest analyst to break down the game and talk about the atmosphere in the city at playoff time. The playoffs are here! The Canucks fall to Winnipeg in Game 82, but fans and players alike were already looking ahead to Game 1 versus the Predators on Sunday. Matt and Blake look at the form of Thatcher Demko after his second and final tuneup game, Quinn Hughes sewing up the defencemen scoring title, and the Lindholm line finding its stride. 
Canucks legend Ryan Kesler joins the guys to walk down memory lane on his series vs the Preds in 2011, he weighs in on the current Canucks including his fondness for JT Miller, and whether number 17 should be in the Ring of Honour.
