A children’s lit must

I love this podcast for so many reasons. If you care deeply about the children’s literary world, this podcast is for you!
Matthew doesn’t just interview authors, illustrators and agents/ he brings out the best in every book. He will introduce you to diverse books, thinking differently about a picture book and in many cases he has actually taught a book maker how to “book talk” their own book. It’s insightful and lovely and my very favourite.

Inspiration while you draw

Listening to the amazing line up of speakers in the children’s book world is the best possible company while working in isolation. Matthew Winner has an infectious laugh and brings an intimacy to the conversation that makes me feel we’re all having a great chat, and all about to my favourite subjects. Thank you for asking all MY questions, Matthew! What could be better listening while illustrating your next book?! Or icing a cake. Or grooming your penguin. Inspirational.
