Genuine conversations about books, creators, and kids!

This is our favorite podcast to find out more about creators and the books they create. Matthew has a gift for interviewing—he always does his research and thinks critically before preparing questions and comments. This allows for rich conversations and insights to emerge, all in accessible episodes (usually less than 30minutes). Highly recommended for fellow creators, teachers, librarians, kid-advocates and anyone who loves books for children.

A children’s lit must

I love this podcast for so many reasons. If you care deeply about the children’s literary world, this podcast is for you!
Matthew doesn’t just interview authors, illustrators and agents/ he brings out the best in every book. He will introduce you to diverse books, thinking differently about a picture book and in many cases he has actually taught a book maker how to “book talk” their own book. It’s insightful and lovely and my very favourite.
