In this topical, rambling podcast series, Andrew Collins and Richard Herring attempt to recreate the golden days of Andrew's old radio programme where they used to talk about what's in the newspapers, except now they're not at the BBC but at Richard's dining table using an in-built mic on his laptop. Do they recapture that unforced magic? Only you can decide. Image: Steve Brown; Logo: Steve Newman

Excellent review of the zero years (2000-2009). Interesting discussion of 9-11, though Richard didn’t mention his earlier – crucial – point: it’s 11-9, not 9-11.

I have only two problems with this podcast. First, I have recurring nightmares of what Rich’s friends might do to him as his dead body lies in the ground, coffin open, black tongue to the ready. Second, I discovered this podcast only after I’d heard AS IT OCCURS TO ME. Consequently, I can’t help thinking that this ‘Collings and Herrin’ Andrew Collings doesn’t sound like the real Andrew Collings. Greetings from Canada!

I used to really like this podcast...

...but now I find that Richard Herring just seems either depressed about his career or spends most of the podcast promoting his upcoming gigs. It's a shame because the early ones were quite funny.

I'm really surprised to be the first Canadian....

Possibly the funniest unscripted British podcast out there. If you want a tiny bit of British news and some genuinely funny chat, this is the podcast for you.
