The Story Behind “They’re Eating the Pets”
Sept 19
Just an observation about one of these quotes…. “Nowhere on the planet is it acceptable for another culture to create a majority population by replacing the native population” What about the founding of the US and the fact that literally this is what was done to the Indigenous populations of North America?! And by far more violent means. Indigenous populations were nearly decimated by European “migrants” who forcibly stole their land and committed atrocious crimes including rape, murder, spreading disease … It’s so interesting to me, especially now with book banning, etc, how Americans today are actively choosing to ignore their own history, or never even knew it to begin with. You get comments like that due to lack of education. But it’s not just about slavery and black history, Americans too often forget the Indigenous completely from the conversation all together. These histories are reflected in the current sentiments in the country and in Springfield as we hear in this episode.
Anti-Semitic
Sept 20
Your anti-Israel, anti-Semitic rhetoric is extremely disappointing. Sabrina wake up.
Excellent daily podcast!
Sept 19
Wow! The September 18 episode titled “Israel’s existential threat from within” is a must listen! The Daily podcast teaches me about things that I may not have known anything about. Not only do they bring me up to speed, but they educate me why I should care. It’s my favourite daily podcast. Keep up the great work guys.
Excellent!!
Sept 18
I’ve always been a fan of this podcast, since it first launched. However todays episode on Israel’s Existential Crisis was the historical and political lesson I needed to better understand the current context, further strengthening my belief that this is best news podcast out there. Such a high quality of journalism and production. Excellent!!
