A full production, the Drabblecast features multiple voice actors, music, and foley effects. The podcast has a finely tuned 'voice' that crosses all genres, including horror, science fiction, fantasy and 'other.' Special features include 100-word stories called, “drabbles,” 100 character stories coined “twabbles,” as well as Norm's own Bbardles, songs based on story themes. Strange stories for strange listeners
It’s obvious that Norm invests a lot of time & effort producing the stories. Funny banter lead-ins and outros. Love to see when an episode pops up in my feed
Sometimes it's nice, sometimes it's nasty, sometimes it's 'meh'.
I've been listening since 2012. Now that Norm Sherman's working on it full-time (as of Halloween, 2018), it's back on the rails... or on the cRaZy tRaIn. Check it out, eh. January, 2019: it’s 100% bonkers & “on point”.
On repeat
I found The Drabblecast in 2015 I think. I listened to everything hing more than twice. It helps me sleep 😜 But it also keeps me up when I should be going to asleep.🤨 That said I do like to smoke a joint and lay in the dark and let my mind follow the story, it’s better than T.V. I really love the Drabblecast it gives me something I didn’t know I was missing!
