The Ezra Klein Show
Each Tuesday and Friday, Ezra Klein invites you into a conversation on something that matters. How do we address climate change if the political system fails to act? Has the logic of markets infiltrated too many aspects of our lives? What is the future of the Republican Party? What do psychedelics teach us about consciousness? What does sci-fi understand about our present that we miss? Can our food system be just to humans and animals alike? Listen to this podcast in New York Times Audio, our iOS app for news subscribers. I have a real hard time listening to two men discuss all the reasons why women might be excelling compared to men since the 1970’s without once mentioning abortion access. I admire what Richard is trying to do for young men but wish the focus would be on teaching them to be good partners and good people. Saying Jordan Peterson and Adam Tate have anything good to offer these young men is not going to get them anywhere. Making sure you clean your room as Jordan Peterson suggests will only get you so far. You do actually have to compete and network with actual people just like women and minorities have always had to do to get ahead. Watching porn and playing video games is much more fun. Being a Trump supporter knowing how he treats women is a big red flag for the type of women these men might be attracted to.
Not helpful enough for the level of the platform

Ezra you need to be more careful talking about the ‘cat ladies’ that JD Vance has described, as a very affluent white cisgender man who is married with children. I know that you know how lucky you are to have been given the right ingredients for that to work out for you. I know that you know not everyone is granted that opportunity, no matter how hard they try. Please think beyond your and JD Vance’s reality’s more.

Unfortunate that he does not seem to see Palestinians as autonomous human beings capable of making their own decisions. Creepy that he supports Israeli apartheid, but wants to make it better- like reducing number of checkpoints.
