Gratitude is the one thing that helped me most in my life from all the personal development and spiritual practices that I did and that’s why I want to inspire 100.000 people to discover how to feel grateful more often and live a happy life.

I believe Thanksgiving is a habit, not just a day, but this day is a great opportunity to start a gratitude practice, and I'm happy to provide this resource, with over 700 free episodes and at least 1 inspiring interview per week.

"It's not happiness that makes us grateful; it's gratefulness that makes us happy." - David Steindl-Rast

I do this by interviewing successful people and getting them to share fascinating stories about how gratitude has helped them get to where they are now.

The Gratitude Podcast is one of the top 1% most popular shows out of 2,204,495 podcasts globally, ranked by Listen Score.

Grateful Living - Brother David Steindl-Rast

Grateful Living - Brother David Steindl-Rast

Brother David, from Gratefulness.org, best known for his famous TedTalk on How Gratitude Makes Us Happy, he was also a guest on Oprah where he talked about how to be fully alive, now, on The Gratitude Podcast.

DAVID STEINDL-RAST was born Franz Kuno Steindl-Rast on July 12, 1926, in Vienna, Austria, and spent his early years there and in a small village in the Alps.

He spent all of his teen years under the Nazi occupation, was drafted into the army, but never went to the front lines. He eventually escaped and was hidden by his mother until the occupation ended.

After the war, Franz studied art, anthropology, and psychology, receiving an MA from the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and a PhD from the University of Vienna. In 1952 he followed his family who had emigrated to the United States. In 1953 he joined a newly founded Benedictine community in Elmira, NY, Mount Saviour Monastery, where he became “Brother David.”

Living A Miracle - Dave Sanderson

Living A Miracle - Dave Sanderson

Dave Sanderson is an entrepreneur and a survivor of the most famous plane landing in history. He even had a small role in Sully (the movie about the event).

Dave is an inspirational survivor, author and former head of security for Tony Robbins. His thoughts on leadership, business & survival have made him an internationally sought-out speaker.  When US Airways Flight 1549, or “The Miracle on the Hudson,” went into the Hudson River on January 15, 2009, Dave Sanderson knew he was exactly where he was supposed to be.

The last passenger off the back of the plane on that fateful day, he was largely responsible for the well-being and safety of others, risking his own life in frigid water to help other passengers off the plane. Dave shares how this experience has changed his perspective on life and on gratitude. One of the most impactful stories is related to what an old lady from the audience said to him after he shared his story at a church gathering, so listen to the episode to find out. :)

Also, he shared his view on a book we both recommend, Man's Search For Meaning, by Viktor Frankl, on the podcast and an in an article: https://davesandersonspeaks.com/suffering-into-purpose/

Don't Put Off Gratitude - Nancy Stevens

Nancy Stevens is Mom to 4 sons age 14, 16, 23 and 24.  She is married to a Grammy award winning music producer.  Becoming a more grateful and an everyday grateful person began when she took her first yoga class and the practice of being grateful through mindfulness was introduced.

She often felt a covering of negativity and frustration and realized that this was not how she wanted to be and live.

    This way was emotionally crippling.

The open door of a non judgmental yoga class placed her on the path of healing and gratitude growth.

Nancy is a healer and uses her expertise as a yoga teacher, yoga trainer and wellness coach to help people.

Gratitude in her own words and experience: "Practicing gratitude on a personal and professional level has changed me from the inside out, literally."
