“As the CEO and President of Reed Construction, Bill Birck is the fifth generation leading the family-owned company established in 1893. Since joining the firm in 2000, Bill as led companywide strategic growth initiatives, helping to expand market sector expertise and annual revenues, as well as working across all business functions to create sustainable value for Reed and its clients. Bill believes that the success of Reed Construction is directly related to the quality of its staff, and as such continually reinvests in the company to maintain a highly qualified and knowledgeable professional team.
Prior to joining Reed Construction, he was a Private Wealth Manager for Morgan Stanley. As an accomplished musician, Bill received his undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois and his Masters in Music and Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. He also maintains an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
As a way to give back to the Chicagoland community, Bill founded and serves on the board of the Reed Construction Foundation. He is also as an active member of The Economic Club of Chicago, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), The Executives’ Club of Chicago, and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).”
