EP 004 - Immigrant Families, Content Strategy and Creating Relationships
In this episode, I have Cesar AKA "Gifted Innovational" who is a hustling music producer in the Siouxland Area that I noticed was putting in the work to create a following on social media. He has a passion for beat-making and has implemented best practices and strategies consistently to grow as a creative. We talk about his upbringing, growing up as first US born from immigrant families, content creation strategy, and why creating relationships is key.
EP 003 - Starting a Small Business, Building the Siouxland Asian Festival, and the Importance of Patience
Back with Episode 3 of the Hustle and Joe Podcast, I talk with Peggy La who runs the Hong Kong Super Market on West 7th in Sioux City, IA about building the oriental community with the Siouxland Asian Festival, how she she took over the family business, and the importance of patience when starting something. It was awesome to hear her family's story of establishing the Hong Kong Super Market back in the 80s and seeing the growth of immigrants and different ethnic communities come together with the Siouxland Asian Festival and her store. With lots of immigrants coming to Sioux City, Peggy is able to offer a sense of community with the food she provides to them at her store. She has something planned to build on West 7th, but you'll have to listen to figure what her next goal is for Sioux City!
EP 002 - Hustle and Balance Defined, Living a Life You Will Remember & Taking the Non-Traditional Path
We get happy when we are focused on our own lane and invest time into the things we enjoy. We need to start taking more accountability of our lives and making the most out of it. One step is to have a positive mindset of pursuing your passion but also having gratitude in your current circumstances. But how can we live a meaningful and purposeful life with all the distractions in an insta gratification/social media world? Samuel and I have a great discussion about taking a non-traditional path from the norms of career/lifestyle, our perception of work ethic, and finding joy in the process or everyday life.
EP 001 - Finding Your Identity, Taking Risks, and the Importance of Bringing the Community Together

These include steps like finding your identity, taking risks to build something you're passionate about, social media influences, and his journey to creating the first Siouxland Coffee Festival and Volunteer Siouxland.
