The Irish Film London Podcast is inspired by the latest and greatest Irish film, TV and animation. It includes recordings of live Q&As and interviews from Irish Film London festivals and awards ceremonies, in addition to a host of brand-new interviews.
Listeners can expect to hear from people like Saoirse Ronan, Fiona Shaw, Roisin Conaty, Lenny Abrahamson, Bronagh Gallagher, Moe Dunford and John Butler, alongside film agencies such as Screen Ireland.
The podcast series will not only keep listeners up to date with insights into the latest UK releases of Irish content, it will also take a look at the future of the industry, with a segment on up and coming filmmakers and actors. IFL will explore the commercial challenges and success of Irish film, TV and animation as well as its wider cultural and social significance.

Lakelands in conversation with IFL
Sadly this is the last ever episode of the IFL podcast. On behalf of us both (Niamh and Gerry) we want to say a huge thanks to everyone whose listened since 2020. We've had some amazing guests and have been so proud of what we've achieved with this project.
For our final episode, Niamh caught up with the filmmakers behind Lakelands - a powerful new drama based in Longford. She spoke to filmmakers Robert Higgins and Patrick McGivney, as well as stars Danielle Galligan and Éanna Hardwicke. This extended interview gives you access to the process behind making the film and how its been received on its incredible journey so far. It also explores some of the themes in the film from the perspective of the filmmakers themselves.
LAKELANDS is out in Irish and UK cinemas from Friday May 5th.
